Accelerated Learning Program
A Second Chance at Education and a Brighter Future
Many out-of-school children are overage and have missed their chance at an education. Sunbeams offers them a lifeline through an accelerated program, covering the entire primary syllabus in just 2-3 years. These children sit for the Government Board exam at the end of Class 5 and are then mainstreamed into formal schools.
Sunbeams partners with organizations like Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (UK), Al-Khidmat Foundation, National Education Foundation, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and AKHO to deliver these accelerated courses.
Countless heartwarming stories emerge of children who work during the day and attend classes in the afternoon, determined to change their destinies. We salute their courage, determination, and dignity!
We aspire to set up many more ALP centers across Pakistan, offering a fresh start to countless out-of-school children. Join us in giving them back their lost childhoods and a bright future.
